France is the last team to qualify for the European Nations Championship, as they defeated Norway 2-1 in the last relegation match. The French team went into the match being favored 82% to win the match against Norway. Norway on the other hand, wanted it different.
On first map inferno, the Norwegians locked down their CT side with a 9-6 win. As the attacking force, the Norwegians showed great play, securing a 7-1 score as T, and winning 16-7 overall.
Moving on to second map nuke, the Norwegians delivered great CT defense, not letting France win rounds, even when being in minority. The Norwegians secured an 11-4 CT side, before moving onto their T side. The Frenchmen did turn tables and put up greater play as CT, taking a 12-1 win and 16-12 overall, to force the third decider map.
Norway wanted to play inferno once more, but rulebook overruled their wishes and train should be the final playground. The strong CT side that Norway had delivered on the two previous maps was demolished by the French team, as they executed a perfect T side, with Mikael "mSx" Casisi being the man to watch.Winning the pistolround as CT, the French victory was only one round away. It came through the following round, where Norway armed with what they could afford, was once again stopped when entering the B bombsite.
